[Abstract]:
Nickel base alloy refers to a kind of alloy with comprehensive performance such as high strength and certain oxidation corrosion resistance at high temperature of 650~1000℃. According to the main properties, it is subdivided into nickel-based heat-resistant alloy, nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy, nickel-based wear-resistant alloy, nickel-based precision alloy and nickel-based shape memory alloy, etc. According to the different matrix, superalloy is divided into: iron based superalloy, nickel based superalloy and cobalt based superalloy. Nickel based superalloy is nickel based alloy for short.

GH159 alloy is a new type of high-strength heterogeneous cobalt-based superalloy developed on the basis of multiphase cobalt-based superalloy.

Its main features are follows:

It has high strength, good plastic toughness and high stress corrosion performance, and can maintain high strength at 650℃.

Chemical properties:

Cobalt-based superalloy has good crack corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. No crevice corrosion and pitting were found in typical iron experiments. No damage occurred during the salt friction test. Alternate maceration shows that the alloy has good resistance to hydrogen embrittlement and stress corrosion cracking.

Main application:

GH 159 cobalt-based superalloy is mainly used in aero-engine fasteners. Its performance is stable at 600℃ and can be used for a long time. It is the best material for aero-engine fasteners in 2018.
